YOGA SYNERGY:

YOGA SYNERGY:
Yoga Synergy is a comprehensive method for practicing and teaching traditional yoga for the modern body. The more we practice yoga, the more we awaken and are able to guide others in this process of realizing our incredible human vitality. Practice is the key, and at Yoga Synergy we use methods to make the practice safe, responsive, dynamic, meditative, and fun. – Simon Borg-Olivier
THE MODERN HUMAN:
The term modern human refers to an individual living in today’s world, influenced by modern lifestyles, technological advancements, and the challenges and demands of contemporary society. A modern human is someone who may be exposed to sedentary lifestyles, prolonged sitting, poor posture, stress, and various health issues resulting from these factors. Simon emphasizes the importance of adapting traditional practices like yoga to suit the needs and requirements of the modern body, helping individuals maintain optimal physical and mental well-being in the modern world. He encourages integrating practices that address the specific challenges faced by modern humans, such as incorporating movement, breathing, and meditation techniques into daily routines to counterbalance the negative impacts of sedentary behavior and stress.
